Andrew has his Master of Fine Arts in Directing and Creation from York University. He trained with professors David Smukler, Michael Greyeyes, Erika Batdorf, Paul Lampert, Eric Armstrong, and Shawn Kerwin.
He originally trained at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and English. Some of his professors were David Barnet, Mike Kennard, Jane Heather, Jan Henderson, Alex Hawkins, Sandy Nicholls, and Michelle Fleiger.
He participated in the Banff/Citadel Professional Theatre Training program where he trained with Brenda Bazinet, James MacDonald, Dennis Cahill, Tom Wood, Bob Baker, and Johnathan Purvis.
Andrew has further studied Intimacy for the Stage (Siobhan Richardson), Pochinko Clown (Mike Kennard), Neo-Bouffon (Adam Lazarus), Shakespeare scene study (Peter Hinton), Stage Combat (Simon Fon, JP Fournier) and improv with too many artists to count!
